Yes folks, it is that time of year again! A time filled with merry, joyous, and festive celebration that comes annually around this time.
I wish I was talking about periods. That would be SO lovely if it came annually! Less hustle and bustle, problems, headaches, and cramps. I wish, I wish….but periods are anything but merry, joyous, and festive. Thats why it would be a dream come true if the dot only came around once a year…. ( :
Back to what I was trying to say…I’m talking about a holiday. No, not Halloween. Not Thanksgiving either; thats too far away. And I’m definately not talking about All Saint’s Day. (Who really celebrates that?) I’m talking about a different kind of holiday.A holiday that is only celebrated in the United Kingdom…
I’m talking about Guy Fawkes Night also known as Bonfire Night. November 5th is just right around the corner and I’m ready for some serious partying. No joke. This holiday is celebrated for the foiling of an attempt to blow up Parliament, known as the Gunpowder Plot, on November 5th 1605 by Great Britain’s biggest traitor, Guy Fawkes.
Now why do the Brits celebrate something so not normal and weird? Well, thats because they are British, so they can get away with anything! Usually on the 5th, bonfires are built up, fireworks are displayed, and effigies are made of Guy Fawkes, and recently of political figures including Osama Bin Laden and George Bush.
I hope making big-ass bonfires is legal in the United States because I am hopefully going to try and make one. I already made an effegies of Osama Bin Laden, Fergie (you’ll come to learn that I despise her), the infamous Speidi (yes thats right, Heidi and Spencer), and Geri Halliwell (for breaking up the Spice Girls.) There are soo many more that I have ideas for but I have to get the voo-doo material first.
Why do I celebrate a British holiday you may ask? Well, its probably because it’ll make me feel more British. If you dont know me already, I love Britian.
So if I don’t get around to it later, Happy Guy Fawkes Day everyone!

FINALLY!!
After trying to establish a blogging system on facebook (which failed miserably), I FINALLY found a site that fits to my blogging needs. Thats right. I can now be an internet blogger- my lifelong dream. That and hundreds of my other lifelong dreams can be displayed on this blog along with my thoughts, opinions, and gibberish.
I hope this blog will bring you joy and laughter and will allow you to have a different perspective and think the unimaginable. I will try my hardest to allow all my readers to have a piece of my knowledge and enrich themselves and open their minds to see the world around them.
