I hate that I am two different people at home and at school.

Honestly, I am total opposites.

Question is…which one is closer to my true self?

How cute.

I terribly miss my dachshund who is back in the states.

Unfortunately, all my pictures of my Gin-gin are on the other computer which is located upstairs at the moment. And unfortunately I am too damn lazy to go up there…

But this picture from the internet will suffice.

“What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others. “

— Pericles

Since I am on break, I have been having an abundance of quiet, contemplative time to myself where I reflect experiences and bask into my hopes and dreams.

Even though my interests are constantly changing as I grow older and mature, I still haven’t forgotten or lost hope in my dream to make a difference in people’s lives, whether that difference is through service to the world community or through just being that one unforgettable person who impacted or bettered someone.

Because you know what? Making other people truly happy makes me genuinely happy.

I feel at peace.

I’ve Got Spirit, Yes I Do

My school needs school spirit.

I know we are not in America…but, hey  still.

I think I STAND OUT …

when we do school related activities….cause i show excitement that everyone else fails to show.

For example, during lunch, stands that sell food  and drinks are set up near the cafeteria. It is to raise money for school. You should see me. Honestly. I :

  • am the loudest
  • try to draw attention to the stands so people can buy and support the school
  • get so excited that I lose control of my mind..then I get fidgety and twitchy
  • ..and so much more

But in my excitement, I sometimes tend to:

  • get delusional to the fact that I am so concerned with getting people to buy stuff that I don’t pay attention what is said to me
  • perspire. yes, promotional activities is tiring. no joke.
  • don’t eat lunch and end up suffering later from dying of hunger.

But you know what my biggest problem is?

Because I want to contribute as much as I can to school…sometimes I am the one that ends up buying the stuff even though I do not want it. Yesterday, I bought 5 chocolate bananas from the stand set up by the Koreans. Did I eat any? No. I just gave it away to my friends. Along with the chocolate bananas,I gave away the chicken coke I bought. And the day before…I bought 4 portions of fried fish balls from the Korean stand as well.  I swear…whenever I walk up to their stand I can see their smiles brighten up. I am their biggest customer! But oh no, it isn’t just the Korean stand. Also yesterday, along with the chocolate bananas and the chicken coke, I bought three fruity drinks from the stand by the Indonesians and one cold coffee drink. None of them for me, of course.

I had this same problem in America. Last year, we almost did not have enough money for prom and I went crazy as well. But that is just me. Anything having to do with fund raising, count me in. I am your marketing/promotion person..anyone can do marketing and stuff  but who at school has the spirit like me? I am not trying to brag or anything…but that is just a thing that I have noticed…

How did I get this way?

Well I DID come from an American high school…what did you expect?

Anyway, I hope my spirit and eagerness for fund raising will spread to everyone at my school. And I hope they understand WHY I AM THIS WAY. Mhhh, actually I don’t care what they think. I think that every school needs some sort of school spirit and pride…so if I look weird and like a freak…at least its for the sake of the school. HAHA

P.S. You are probably wondering what chicken coke is. HAHAHA it is not coke poured on chicken. It is chicken served with a cup of coke.   : D  I really wonder what the chicken tasted like…I think next time I need to taste what I buy before giving it away to my friends.
